Developing the Facts and Shaping the Law
Bredhoff & Kaiser has a flourishing litigation practice, handling cases all the way from the complaint through appeal. While litigation at the trial-court level comprises the largest portion of our docket, the firm also has a robust appellate practice, with Bredhoff lawyers very frequently arguing cases in federal and state appellate courts and often practicing before the Supreme Court on behalf of parties and amici curiae.
Our litigation practice is nationwide and often involves high-stakes matters, complex legal issues, and multiple parties. We also handle smaller-scale litigation before administrative agencies as well as arbitrations and grievance proceedings that may affect a discrete group of an employer’s workforce or a single employee. We represent defendants in criminal proceedings and are frequently asked to assist clients in responding to grand jury, administrative, and Congressional investigations and subpoenas.
The litigation matters we handle arise in a wide spectrum of industries, including manufacturing, education, hospitality, service industries, construction, music, sports, air and rail transportation, public agencies (schools, police, fire, postal), and many others.
