Second Win for Pensioners in Second Circuit

April 4, 2025

Two years after winning a complete victory before the Second Circuit on behalf of a class of plaintiffs who alleged that Colgate had underpaid their pensions and owed them an additional $300 million, the firm won another complete victory after Colgate filed a second appeal attempting to escape or limit its liability.  

On April 4, 2025, the Second Circuit found that all of Colgate’s new arguments were barred under the mandate rule and affirmed the District Court’s judgment in favor of the plaintiff class.
