Associate
Ian Postman joined Bredhoff & Kaiser as an Associate in 2022. His practice focuses on litigation and arbitration on behalf of labor unions and their members.
Before joining the firm, Ian clerked for Judge Richard L. Nygaard of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and Judge Louis L. Stanton of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Ian received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and his B.S. from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations. During law school, Ian served as submissions editor of the Cardozo Law Review, in which he published a note on incarceration requirements in post-conviction DNA testing statutes. He also participated in the Innocence Project clinic and volunteered with the Suspension Representation Project and Parole Representation Project.
Ian is a member of the New York bar.
