Paralegals

Bredhoff & Kaiser, P.L.L.C. employs a paralegal staff to assist attorneys in all of its practice areas, with an emphasis on the firm’s general litigation practice.  Paralegals work closely with attorneys in all phases of litigation from case initiation to trial.  Among other things, paralegals manage case-related documents and information, conduct factual research, and assist with discovery-related projects.  In addition to trial court litigation, paralegals are involved in the cite-checking and preparation of briefs to support the firm’s appellate practice.  The paralegal staff also supports the firm’s counseling and compliance practice by researching economic and policy issues, and by retrieving and organizing documents in the public record.  The firm occasionally has openings for both experienced and entry-level paralegals.  For entry-level positions, the firm seeks candidates with advanced research and writing skills and excellent academic credentials.

Current Openings:
The firm is currently accepting applications for an entry-level paralegal position. Candidates must possess an undergraduate degree with an excellent academic record and at least some experience in a professional office setting, with law firm experience a plus. We are seeking candidates with excellent writing skills and demonstrated abilities in factual research and document organization. Proficiency in the following computer applications is required: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and online research. Familiarity with database applications is also a plus. This is a good position for individuals considering law school. Salary commensurate with skills and experience.
