Joshua B. Shiffrin

Joshua Shiffrin joined Bredhoff & Kaiser as an associate in 2006. Joshua’s practice focuses on litigation on behalf of labor unions in state and federal court in a broad range of labor and employment-related matters, and on the representation of individual workers in administrative and arbitration proceedings.

Prior to joining the firm, Joshua served as a law clerk to the Honorable Janet C. Hall in the District of Connecticut. Joshua graduated from Harvard Law School cum laude in 2005.

During law school, Joshua served as an Executive Editor of the Harvard Civil Right Civil Liberties Law Review, and he was actively involved in the Tenant Advocacy Project, through which he represented public housing tenants in hearings before various municipal housing authorities. He is also the author of Note, “A Practical Jurisprudence of Values: Re-Writing Lechmere, Inc. v. NLRB,” 41 Harvard C.R.-C.L. L. Rev. 177 (2006). Joshua graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Cornell University in 2001 with a degree in Ethics and Public Life.
